Tại Việt Nam, cơ sở dữ liệu chuyên sâu về đời sống, việc làm, sinh kế nói chung của người nữ đa dạng giới và tính dục tại Việt Nam vẫn còn chưa đầy đủ. Vì vậy, nghiên cứu Thách thức và nhu cầu kinh tế của phụ nữ LBTQ tại Việt Nam là một nỗ lực của Trung tâm ICS và Tổ chức IT’S T TIME nhằm bổ sung dữ liệu thực tiễn về điều kiện kinh tế, cơ hội sinh kế và các rào cản mà cộng đồng người có cơ thể nữ đa dạng giới và tính dục Việt Nam đang đối mặt. Nghiên cứu mở rộng phạm vi bao hàm cho cả nhóm chuyển giới nam nhằm phản ánh đầy đủ hơn các trải nghiệm kinh tế, sinh kế đa dạng từ những khách thể chưa được công nhận giới tính pháp lý.

The "Is My Child LGBTI+?" fact sheet helps address concerns, provides quick psychological first aid guidelines for parents of LGBTI+ individuals, and recommends reliable resources and video stories from other parents. Additionally, LGBTI+ individuals, counselors, relatives, teachers, or colleagues can use this material to share information and provide necessary support to the parents and family members of LGBTI+ people.

The report “Under One Roof” delves into “non-traditional” family models, showing that same-sex cohabitation in Vietnam is not a marginal or temporary phenomenon, but is becoming an increasingly stable and socially significant form of intimate cohabitation. Many same-sex couples actually function as family units, sharing responsibilities, care, and long-term commitments in ways similar to heterosexual couples. At the same time, issues related to legal recognition and protection remain topics requiring further research and policy discussion in the future. The report presents policy implications at three levels: 1) legal level, 2) policy level, and 3) social level; with a phase-by-phase approach, prioritizing the resolution of practical gaps and difficulties in daily life, while creating space for broader discussions on rights and recognition of relationships.

The findings reveal alarming rates of anxiety, depression, and suicide risk, thereby emphasizing the urgent need for protective policies and gender-sensitive healthcare services tailored specifically for the asexual community.

This study explores the role of the internet and social media in the lives of LGBT youth in Vietnam, and analyzes the challenges they face, including fake news and hate speech. The research combines quantitative and qualitative methods, including online surveys and in-depth interviews with target groups. A sample of 780 valid records from LGBT youth was collected.

This study explores the question: What factors are creating an enabling environment for conversion therapy practices (CTP) against LGBTQ people to thrive? The study finds that the absence of legal and medical regulatory mechanisms, along with the constant reproduction and dissemination of false CTP narratives, have become key factors that foster the existence and growth of CTP.

The study “Public Opinion on Gender and Sexual Diversity in Viet Nam” was conducted by the Institute for Studies of Society, Economy and Environment (iSEE) and the Institute of Sociology and Psychology, with technical and financial support from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) in Vietnam. The study shows that awareness and acceptance of LGBTI communities in Vietnam have improved significantly. Gay men and lesbians have high visibility, and most respondents believe that gender and sexual diversity, specifically homosexuality and transgender identity, are neither diseases nor deviant behaviors. The majority feel relatively comfortable when interacting with LGBTI people, and public support for same-sex marriage and related rights is relatively high.
