Benchmarking Queer Public Space in Hanoi

Studying the presence of the LGBTIQ+ community in various public spaces across different time periods will reveal changes within the LGBTIQ+ community itself, within the rights advocacy and promotion movement, and especially changes in standards as well as the level of openness, inclusivity, and humanity of Vietnamese society. The "Livable Hanoi” network (VMHNĐS), with the support of the Goethe Institut, has carried out this activity to collect images and information about the presence of the LGBTIQ+ community in public spaces in Hanoi over the past decade.
