Conversion therapy targeting LGBTQ people in Viet Nam: Dominant narratives and practices
This study explores the question: What factors are creating an enabling environment for conversion therapy practices (CTP) against LGBTQ people to thrive? The study finds that the absence of legal and medical regulatory mechanisms, along with the constant reproduction and dissemination of false CTP narratives, have become key factors that foster the existence and growth of CTP.
